ORIA OGGI - Newsletter May 2025

New frontiers, new expressions.

1. Oria Uruguay: a wine that honors the sea

During a presentation to investors, Roberto Cipresso shared his vision for the Oria project in Uruguay. Inspired by the soil’s similarity to Sicily, he envisions the creation of a wine that captures the salinity, the Atlantic wind, and the coastal identity of the terroir. A new frontier for the Oria philosophy.

Current Oria members will be able to participate in this new initiative at a special launch price. For more information, contact us at info@oriatoscana.com

The vineyard will be planted within the Chacras de Las Cañas complex, about 35 minutes from Punta del Este, where 10 hectares will be dedicated to the cultivation of 12 white grape varieties. The complex includes accommodations for members who visit the estate.

2. The First Oria Brandy is Born

We have begun production of our first Brandy, signed by the legendary Vittorio Capovilla, one of the most prestigious distillers in the world.

• 3,000 bottles of 500 ml

• Versions: unaged (2026) and aged for 3 years (2028)

3. March in the Vineyard – Marco Pierucci and Precision Viticulture

Agronomist Marco Pierucci, our expert in organic viticulture, led the March tasks, focused on:

• Soil health
• Balanced vegetative cycles
• Selection and acquisition of various Sangiovese clones for the planting of the “CLONI” vineyard (132,000 m²)

A way of listening to the land and letting it speak through every wine.

4. Save the Date: Oria Day 2025!
